The PrePrep girls have been busy writing CVC words in their literacy lessons. They worked hard to recognise the initial sound in the word before having a go at writing the letters. Some girls were even able to write the correct letter from memory - superstars! 🤩

For our third Year 6 Careers Talk, we welcomed Jessica Lilienthal to @TheVillageSchoolforGirls. Jess is a Communications Director for big companies, and used role-play to show the girls how important it is to listen, to be empathetic and not to shy away from difficult conversations. Taking the lesson outside to make the most of the glorious weather, Year 1 were tasked with planting beans during their Science lesson. The girls were first asked to write out the instructions, and then follow them for planting, with the aim of observing, measuring and recording their bean plants growth throughout the term. 🌱
