Our Philosophy
“The family feel that pervades throughout the whole school continues into the academic education of the girls, as the two cannot be separate.”
Education is about a passion for learning, a curiosity that allows children to go off on tangents to explore a subject more deeply, a lack of fear in any subject, and a confidence in their ability to be able to discuss any topic, supported with imaginative ideas, both orally and in written form.
This is supported by inspirational teaching from specialist teachers, who have a desire to see all the girls reach their full potential. We also want the girls to have responsibility and ownership for their learning as they prepare for later life.
We believe in the power of a single sex education to break down barriers and to inspire girls to be who they want to be in this world. Our girls are taught to understand who they are as learners through our six learning dispositions:
