Wellbeing Wednesdays

Collaboration

"Every woman’s success should be an inspiration to another, we’re strongest when we cheer each other on.”

‘Wellbeing Wednesdays’ have become a hugely popular addition to the school week across all age groups. Our learning dispositions reinforce the value we place on positive mental health and teaching supports these five areas of wellbeing:

  1. Connect… With the people around you. With family, friends and neighbours.
  2. Be active… Exercising makes you feel good! Go for a walk or run, step outside and play, or cycle skate and scoot.
  3. Take notice… Be curious. Catch sight of the beautiful. Remark on the unusual. Notice the changing seasons and savour the moment. Be aware of the world around you and what you are feeling.
  4. Keep learning… Try something new. Set a challenge you enjoy achieving. Learning new things will make you more confident as well as being fun.
  5. Give … Do something nice for a friend, or a stranger. Thank someone. Smile. Volunteer your time. Look out, as well as in.

Nurturing Every Child

A vital voice in our learner-led school.

The individual wellbeing of each and every girl is at the heart of everything we do.

“… It takes a Village to raise a child…”

  • Small class sizes, allow us to work as a close family, quickly identifying and responding to individual needs.
  • Every member of staff knows every child’s name in the school.

The girls have an important voice in the school. They know that whoever they talk to on the staff at school, they will be listened to and supported in an age-appropriate manner.
